The snag with using covert surveillance to construct credible lies about someone is that the perp is creating proof that they are engaged in illegal surveillance. I wonder if that thought has occurred to any of the people involved?

BTW: it is also pretty obvious that whoever murdered Barry and Honey Sherman knew too much about their most recent movements and purchases for them NOT to have been subjecting the Shermans to a very similar level of surveillance. The limited opportunities and substantial resources involved ought to narrow down the list of possible suspects quite nicely, and yet... no charges or even hints of charges!

Stalkers must always be suspects in murders simply because of how much they know about their own victims and quite possibly the victims of other stalkers. If there's no smoking gun, there might very well be some smoking dox.
